Data Retrieval Unit Type DR1 is designed as an accessory for Self Powered Relay type DPX1 . Data Retrieval Unit Type DR1 is connected to DPX1 via RS485 serial link and the two units communicate on Modbus. DR] also provides auxiliary power to DPX1 since in the absence of current in DPX1
communication is not possible.
