We are excited to announce the inauguration of our We4She program at our MCB and WA manufacturing plants in Haridwar. The We4She program introduces dedicated manufacturing lines exclusively run and managed by women employees, underscoring our commitment to gender diversity and empowerment in the workplace.
The We4She manufacturing lines were inaugurated by Mrs. Rumjhum Chatterjee, Independent Director of C&S Electric and Co-founder of Infravision Foundation, and Ms. Aruna Bharti, PPS, Deputy Commandant of the Armed Training Centre in Haridwar, Uttarakhand, in the presence of Mr. Prakash Kumar Chandraker, Managing Director and CEO of C&S Electric Limited.
During the event, Mrs. Chatterjee shared her vision on women empowerment initiatives, praising the company’s efforts in launching the We4She program. She emphasized that such initiatives are crucial for creating equitable workplaces and expressed her hope that the We4She program would inspire other companies to take similar steps towards gender parity, thereby setting a precedent for the industry at large.
