IRIPRO Series offers a compact Over-current protection solution for the distribution/feeder segment.

IRIPRO Family of protective relays are numeric relays that provide protection and monitoring with a reliable and fast protection solution in a single unit with programmable digital outputs.

The IRIPRO relays have been designed for controlling, protecting and monitoring industrial, utility distribution networks and substations. They can also be used as part of a backup protection scheme for feeders, transformers and generators.

IRIPROX is a microprocessor-based numerical relay that integrates multiple protection, monitoring, and communication functions into a single, compact unit. This design provides significant advantages over traditional analogue or electromechanical systems, including enhanced reliability, flexibility, and cost-effectiveness.

  • The relay provides several protection functions like three-phase time overcurrent, three-phase instantaneous protection, earth time overcurrent, earth instantaneous overcurrent, and circuit breaker failure protection. Restricted Earth Fault (REF) protection is also available in selected models.
  • It uses microcontrollers to measure values accurately and suppress high-frequency harmonics during short circuits, ensuring stable and reliable operation.
  • Users can select different inverse time characteristics for specific coordination requirements, configure digital outputs for various annunciations or tripping, and program settings via a user-friendly interface.
    • It records the last five faults with real-time stamps, providing information such as the type of fault, the faulty phase, and the current value at the time of the fault.
    • Provides valuable data on system events for post-event analysis and identifying root causes.
    • Features a bright LCD and push buttons on the front for easy local human-machine interface (HMI).
    • Equipped with a front USB interface for easy communication with a PC/laptop.
  • It supports a universal auxiliary supply voltage, increasing its adaptability to various power systems.
